Summer and Holiday Day Camps are generally structured as follows:
Camp Movin’ & Groovin’:
Camp Movin ‘n’ Groovin’ takes excitement along with fun-filled enrichment experiences to create a totally awesome summer! Each week offers a variety of sports, exciting excursions, arts and crafts and other fun activities. Camp Movin ‘n’ Groovin’ is designed for children ages 7 to 14. This full-day program is divided into two components: Movin All Day (7:00 am to 6:00 pm) for $185 per week and In the Groove (9:00 am to 3:00 pm) for $125 per week, a $10 discount will be applied for each additional child within the same immediate family per week. Specialized Day Camps: Summer and Some Holidays
The City of Walnut occasionally offers specialized day camps that focus on sports, art, computers, dance and swimming. The days, times, fee, and location of these camps vary.
For children ages 6 to 12. This summer only morning camp will be held at a local park. Camp is on Monday through Thursday from the hours of 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The participation fee is $40 per child per session.
Periodic excursions will be offered for an additional fee. Each camper will receive one Camp T-shirt for the summer. Additional Camp T-shirts will be available for purchase (pending availability). For additional information, please call 909-598-6200.

Monday through Friday
This one week camp is both challenging and fun for youth ages of 8 and 12 interested in learning basic skills required to be future lifeguard. Campers must have passed the City of Walnut Level 4 swim lessons (or the equivalent).
Jr. Lifeguard Camp
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
The perfect camp to set the foundation for future lifeguards! This camp is for ages 12 to 16 years old. Four weeks of training, includes one week of shadow work with a certified lifeguard and CPR/First Aid Training.
