Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us for an evening of family fun to celebrate the Lunar New Year.  There will be a lion dance, firecrackers, live entertainment, music, food trucks, vendors, games, activities, and artistic demonstrations.

Kids’ Night Out
Third Saturday of every month 

6:00 pm to 11:00 pm

$19 per child/$15 per additional child from the same immediate family.
Do you need some extra time for yourself, but are wondering what to do with the kids? Sign them up for Kids’ Night Out! Children ages 5 to 12 years will enjoy an evening of fun with crafts, games, dinner, dessert, popcorn and movies. Each night will have a different theme! Please bring a sleeping bag or blanket to rest on during the movie. Dates subject to change.

Dinner with Santa

The holidays come but once a year! Why not spend some time with Santa himself? Join us for a hearty and delicious dinner. You and your family will enjoy games and other winter activities. Don’t forget to bring a camera as Santa will be posing for pictures with the children. 

Santa Makes House Calls
This will be an occasion to remember! Imagine the look of merriment on your children’s faces as Santa magically appears at your door. Santa plans on being in the Walnut area beginning Friday, December 7 through Monday, December 24. Santa’s visiting hours are 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The cost to Walnut residents for a 20-minute visit is $65 and $90 on Christmas Eve. The cost to non-residents for a 20-minute visit is $80 (Christmas Eve reservations are available for City of Walnut residents only). Special arrangements may be made for visits to neighboring communities, large groups and other dates on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee. Reservations for Santa visits can be made beginning Monday, November 26 at 7:30 am, by calling (909) 598-5605 or in person at the Community Services Office, 21701 Valley Blvd. Sorry, no online registration is available for this activity. Please note: Christmas Eve reservations are available for City of Walnut residents only.

Community Holiday Dinner & Dance

This is your chance to dance the night away while celebrating the holidays. This fun evening will feature live music, a buffet dinner and door prizes. Space is limited, so please register early. Taste of Wellness

Join us for a Taste of Wellness in the new year with free demonstrations, chair massages, meditation, and a hot tea bar.  Meet Midnight the Therapy Dog and be a part of the opportunity drawing for prizes. Bring your family or come alone. This event is best suited for ages 12 and older (minors must be accompanied by a supervising adult). Child care will be provided but you must register ahead of time. Sign up beginning, December 3, 2018.
