2018 HOLIDAY HOME DECORATION CONTEST: Entry Forms Accepted Beginning October 8, 2018
Does your house or block have the best holiday decorations in the City? The Community Services Department invites Walnut residents to participate in the City’s Holiday Home Decorating Contest. You may nominate your own home, or get together with your neighbors and nominate your block. One individual winner and one block winner will be chosen as the Best Overall (based on curb appeal). Please note, all homes must be located within the   municipal boundaries of the City of Walnut.  Entry Acceptance Deadline is 5:00 pm on Thursday,  December 6, 2018. Applications can be submitted at Walnut Recreation Services Office (MDRS) at 21701 Valley Blvd (M-Th, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm) or at the Walnut Senior Center (M-F, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). 

The Judging will take place on Monday, December 17, 2018 and winners will be notified by phone or email no later than Thursday, December 20, 2018. The winner(s) will receive a special “Best Holiday  Decoration” yard sign and recognition at a City Council meeting.
